Latest Finished Project
This is my latest project. I crocheted it using luxurious chenille yarns in Terra Cotta and a Speckled Brown that are so soft you would not believe it. It measures 41" x 60". I truly love the colors, the feel of the afghan and would keep it for myself if it matched my decor however it unfortunately does not. You would not believe the rich look of the afghan until you actually see it. The pictures just do not do it justice. Also please note that the top pictures are closer to the actual color, the picture on the sofa is somewhat dark so it does not show the true colors. Therefore, if you would like to have it for your own or know someone that you would like to give a lovely gift, I would be willing to sell it for $150.00 plus shipping. Handmade crocheted items like this can make a lovely attraction in any room of your home and make wonderful gifts. Please contact me if you have an interest in this item.

I deleted my previous comment about the cats not helping. They show no interest in crochet. They have their own yarn scraps that they occasionally try to kill but aren't very creative with them other than that.
They know to stay away from Momma's projects or they get in big trouble.
I just love crocheting projects when I get home of an evening as I find it very relaxing and it takes my mind off the stress of the day.
So since the price sounds reasonable to you, are you interested in purchasing or know of anyone who might be?
I will make crochet items by order but normally the orders are just for a certain color and I choose the pattern and usually the yarn. I have made many more crocheted projects than are shown on my recent projects post, those are just some patterns I have been into lately. As an example, my friend, Andrea's Wine Afghan shown in recent projects was a made to order item.
She wanted something in just one color wine and of fairly simple design and without holes like many crochet pattens have. So that is what she got. I picked out the yarn and the pattern just with those specifics.
So if you have an interest, please feel free to contact me or post and I will give you a cost estimate and time frame depending on how many projects are ahead of your desired one of a kind item.
I also do some knitting but since crocheting was my first love, I tend to make crocheted items much quicker.
